Launched a few years ago, Engine Sound is an integrated composition and production studio that was formed by Matt Anthony and myself. Our musical collaborations, that began in our band Tammany Hall NYC, moved to networks, film & production companies, producers, directors and artists and continue to be extremely successful, garnering Emmy awards and a loyal client base.
We've composed original music for shows such as Cash Cab, CNN Heroes, Good Morning America, Dr. Oz, Work-A-Holics, Mega Engineering and First 48 among many others. Advertising and song license clients include Nike, ESPN, HBO, Scrubs, Mini Cooper, Maybelline, Buena Vista Pictures, and McDonalds. Engine Sound has also written and scored soundtracks for films such as SUGAR! (which just won a "best music" award), Into the Fire, A Table In Heaven, and Hitting the Cycle with Bruce Dern.
In addition to working in television and film, Engine Sound works with both established and developing artists to cultivate their unique musical or comedic identity. From green screening, to podcasts, animation to sketch comedy, Engine Sound has become a go-to environment for talent ranging from Tony Award winners like Alice Ripley and Grammy winners like Darius Rucker to Phoebe Robinson, Alicia Goranson along with podcasters like James Bewley's Dale Radio and Life Coach CNN hosts like Mel Robbins have worked in the studio.
